The end of the world has come Juan (Ricardo Olea) travels to Valparaiso to kill his former girlfriend Helen (María Jesús Muñoz) before octopuses do. They both know that they will not be saved, so they decide to try and find a portal, a place out of time where those who love will never be separated.
